Bill Barr is not going anywhere until he finishes restoring some integrity back to the DOJ.
WHEN he resigns we will all know AFTER it happens.
I hope you’re right. The attacks on Barr here on FR are disgusting, although I’m sure a lot of them are Dem trolls trying to stir up dissension and undermine Trump and Barr.
As the article points out, the “Deep State” has never been worse or more powerful, and you can definitely see the moments when panic began to set in to the ant hive.
They thought they were going to get away with it. First of all, they’d prevent Trump from getting elected, then they’d prevent him from truly occupying the office and doing anything, then they thought they’d get rid of him...and now they realize they’re in genuine danger and they’re out for blood.
Barr is also going for a multi-agency housecleaning, with numerous different investigations going on, and I think the author’s point was very good. He’s not just trying to root out a coup attempt by the intelligence services and assaults on the law by the DOJ, but he wants to restore accountability and legitimacy to the system. A huge task.
