Most here, including you apparently, don’t know that the current problems are the result of a very few individuals many years ago. They teamed with lawyers to go after deep defenseless pockets of BSA.
With that aside, for many years BSA has maintained a strict policy of Youth Protection Training. Every leader must take the training every two years to remain registered. further for a very long time, there is a requirement for two deep leadership. that is, there can never be one on one contact between a scouter and a boy.
Further, although Queer leaders are allowed by BSA, they may be rejected by the troop sponsoring institution. It is the Sponsoring Institution that has the final say about who can and who can not be a Scout leader. Further, each application is scrutinized and the travelers, pedos, who traveled around seeking leadership positions, no longer exist in scouting. They now ply their nefarious sexual trade in little league and soccer teams.
Most here who complain are just plain ignorant about BSA. They just do not know what they whine about

Sorry, bert. You may think it isn’t dead, but it is. You can have your own private Boy Scouts now and that is fine, but it isn’t part of a larger fraternity.
Screw the training. People don’t need to be trained to know right from wrong. Anyone can take and pass training, and that includes Scoutmaster pedophiles or any other kind of pedophile.
If you think I am “whining” about the war on masculinity, boys, honor, God, patriotism and self reliance, then you are just playing into the hands of the Left. Because that is a reality.
