One big building lumber company (studwood manufacturer) has increased its production 100% to take up the slack. Another, OSB manufacturer’s’, the same. Pulp and paper has/is inventory of raw roundwood for the spring thaw and are worried they wont have enough to cover the thawing season because of whats going on in Canada.
Its pretty good news for the companies up there.
