The Democratic presidential debate Wednesday night kicked off with fireworks, as every person on stage not named Mike Bloomberg attacking the former New York City mayor, who was participating in his first presidential face off.
The first hit at the NBC/MSNBC two-hour debate here came from frontrunner Bernie Sanders, who ripped Bloomberg for his record as mayor.
Next to swing at Bloomberg was Elizabeth Warren, who took aim at the mayor's past critical statements about women.
"I'd like to talk about who we're running against. A billionaire who calls women 'fat broads' and 'horse-faced lesbians,' and, no, I'm not talking about Donald Trump,” Warren said. "I'm talking about Mayor Bloomberg."
Amy Klobuchar took her shot next.
"I've been told many times to wait my turn and to step aside," she said. "And I'm not going to do that now, and I'm not going to do that because a campaign memo from Mayor Bloomberg said, this morning, that the only way we get a nominee is if we step aside for him," she said.
Moments later, Pete Buttigieg offered his criticism for Bloomberg
"Let's put someone forward who is actually a Democrat," Buttigieg said.

One can picture an “Orient Express” version on this with Bloomberg as the murder victim. They sure have the attitudes and the knives are out.
Warren is top performer in this debate.

It’s fun to watch when they hit Bloomberg. Unwatchable when they aren’t. Just a clown show.
Well at least she believes in restrictions on abortion during the third trimester. That is something. But, of course, Mayor Pete said that there is no room for such a woman in the democratic party. Oh well.
That was my first thought as soon as I heard he would make the debates - he is lousy on stage and the public will be turned off, even without the attacks.

Bloomberg looked pathetic. He has no chance.
There are too many winners. Even old Joe has vim and vinegar.
Buttgig & Bloomberg might be the only losers (because one is light weight and the other is A-hole).
WIth many winners, the BIG winner is Trump.
Super Tuesday will be a Cluster**** for the Democrat party. Bernie will have a Plurality after Super Tuesday and Trump is well on his way to winning 40 states.
