I think Bloomie knows Sanders has the nomination locked up. BUT he could spend 6 billion dollars to run as an indy. He already has 100s of Dem staffers on his payroll. He could buy five times the ad time he is buying now. He hates Trump. He hates Bernie. He loves Mike and Mike wants to be POTUS.
