Poles are not parasites but here is the thing, it doesn’t matter where immigrants are from, if there are too many of them, particularly in unskilled occupations the glut of workers drives wages and the availability of work down, and the cost of housing up. It also puts strain on public infrastructure because unlike the birthrate, uncontrolled immigration means you cant plan for how many school places and hospital beds will be needed in any given town or city. Immigration needs to be controlled and based on national need, not because it makes some privileged white liberal douchebag feel good to open the country to everyone in the world to live regardless of how useful or desirable they are.

Up until two generations ago my family was Cherokee. My ancestors lost their homes on rich fertile planting ground, lost land where anyone found oil, gas, gold.. Although a few years ago they may have found gas once again on Grandpa’s land, the little bit of land he still owned. Trail of Tears was nasty to the Cherokee. Thousands died walking the trail as they were kicked off their land. So I am NOT fond of immigrants of any kind from any where!

True. One million Poles moving to the UK 2004-2014 naturally bred discomfort.

I agree, controlling immigration is a matter of ensuring economic stability. regardless of where immigrants are from. Of course some immigration is positive, but it needs to be contolled and be primarily considered on what is best for the economy (short-term and long-term)
