President Trump accused former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg of trying to buy the presidency and claimed the billionaire was guilty of illegal campaign spending.
"What Mini Mike is doing is nothing less than a large scale illegal campaign contribution," Trump tweeted Tuesday. "He is 'spreading' money all over the place, only to have recipients of his cash payments, many former opponents, happily joining or supporting his campaign. Isnt that called a payoff?"
"Mini is illegally buying the Democrat Nomination. They are taking it away from Bernie again. Mini Mike, Major Party Nominations are not for sale! Good luck in the debate tomorrow night and remember, no standing on boxes!" he added. .....Mini is illegally buying the Democrat Nomination. They are taking it away from Bernie again. Trump's comments follow Bloomberg's spending in the 2020 Democratic primary surpassing $400 million just for ads. Sen. Bernie Sanders, one of the front-runners, has spent just over $40 million in comparison.
Bloomberg is currently third in the polls for the Democratic presidential nomination, with slightly under 15% support. Sanders has come out on top in the popular vote totals in the first two states that have voted, but he is behind Pete Buttigieg in the delegate count.

AKA "The DNC Electoral College"...
Thanks to Bon mots for the above reality.

Wicked right uppercut!
As Steve Bannon calls is, Bloomberg is engaged in a leveraged buyout of the DNC. I don’t know if he’s in it to win it for himself. He’s in it to determine the outcome.
He’s paying a fortune not just on ads, but building a machine. If they go to a brokered convention, his money will buy the Super Delegate vote.
He will be able to hand off his machine to the candidate, and contribute unlimited amounts of money to PACs, and give the maximum to the state and national party. He is simply not going to throw his support to Sanders. So he will be kingmaker, whether he wants the crown for himself or wants to choose the candidate.
I wonder if any of the other candidates will refer to him as “Mini-Mike” in tomorrow night’s debate.
That would ruin untold numbers of keyboards!

I’m sure Trump’s DoJ will get right on it.
Whats scary is he spent $104 million to help the Democrats take control of the House of Representatives in 2018. Hes already spent over $400 million to buy the executive branch of government. If he gets both those, hell control the judicial branch too. He wants to own our government.
I think he’s just trying to protect his Chinese investments.
Illegal how?
