News that a male athlete was beaten by a girl would be a lighthearted human interest story in a sane world. Unfortunately, since falling down the rabbit hole of transgender theory, Chelsea Mitchell must now worry whether her victory on the track over a boy who identifies as female will jeopardize her court case.
Mitchell is one of three Connecticut female athletes who are suing in federal court to bar boys who identify as females from competing in girls sports.
On Friday, Canton High's Mitchell beat her transgender opponent, Terry Miller of Bloomfield High, by .02 seconds to win the 55-meter dash in the Class S state championships in New Haven, the Hartford Courant reported.
Since the impetus for the girls' lawsuit was the fundamental unfairness of having a male athlete compete with female athletes, questions may arise as to whether this win negates their whole argument.
However, as the Alliance Defending Freedom, the conservative nonprofit that is providing legal services for the female athletes, noted, Mitchell previously "has been denied the title of state champion four times because the CIAC has allowed male athletes to compete as girls."
Girls who are bested by boys identifying as female miss out on championships and important wins that attract the attention of recruiters, the lawsuit says.
Selina Soule, another plaintiff in the case, was beaten by transgender runners who took first and second place in Connecticut's 2019 Indoor Track and Field State Championships. She was sidelined as the third-place sprinter at the New England Regional Championships and missed the chance to compete in front of college scouts, according to her legal team.

That’s the “Buckwheat” tranny from the last year’s race photo. Most likely the tranny threw the race because of the lawsuit. No way he lost otherwise.

The way I see it, it doesn’t make any difference. There were plenty of girls who didn’t get a fair shot. This Insanity needs to end. Really, the only way it will end is if girls completely leave the field when a boy enters their sport. Leave the woman with a penis out on the field by himself
No one is transgender. They are deluding themselves into thinking that. Changing one’s sex is impossible.
The girls are right to sue.
There are boys’ teams and girls’ teams for a reason: boys, on average, are stronger than girls. A proven fact.
The choice is between two possibilities:
1. Do away with separate teams, starting points, different rules for the two sexes. Both sexes on the same team. Delusional individuals who think they’ve changed sex play on the same team as both men and women.
2. Keep separate teams for males and females, and determine a person’s sex by genetic testing. Delusional “transgender” individuals play on the team corresponding to their genetics.
Choose one.

You nailed it. I also think its legal council may have suggested it. I bet if you look at the records of the races the times would be off a bit to be odd.
These types want the attention and the now the feeling of superiority at any cost.
I remember having to get a physical to play sports and I am not sure how this works now.
There is another possible choice, not that I am an advocate of it, but I have heard it. Allowing transgender girls to compete against normal girls, but ONLY if they "converted" before puberty. I imagine that would probably eliminate a lot of these types of situations.
Children can’t sexually consent, and therefore they cannot give consent to a sex change either, for the same exact reason.
Any child which is made into a transsexual should be immediately removed by CPS and merciless prosecution of the responsible adults should ensue.
This whole concept is so silly on many levels.
To "identify" as female when you are male (or vice versa) is the same as "identifying" as 19 years old when you are 50 or "identifying" as Marie Antoinette or King Tut. It's equally ridiculous.
Pure fantasy or delusion or attention getting or mental illness. Whatever it is, it is not REAL.
And that this is given any merit or consideration just amazes and, frankly, frightens me. People have completely lost their minds.

The simple rule is that anyone confused runs in the hard class - ie with the boys.
A DNA test would end all of this.
If you’re XX, you play on the team with other XX’s.
If you’re XY, you play on the team with other XY’s.
Done and finished.

Even before puberty little boys are already stronger, faster, more aggressive than little girls.
There are exceptions to this rule, but they are not that common; there are Effeminate little boys and Tomboy little girls but they are the exception NOT the rule.
