Gotta round 'em up and get 'em into unions so their dues can go to Democrats.

This might have been the one thing that could drive Wall Street globalists to Donald Trump.

Nice to make promises that OTHER people have to actually pay for.

I say make it happen in Puerto Rico with an appointed economic Czar. Turn the place into a penal colony with a million inmates building up the destroyed island and making ‘only’ $15/hr. It’s not a gulag.

So my 2 and at times 3 part time jobs in 1960s to pay my own way through college was all in vain. $1.25 minimum wage (one job did not involve interstate commerce or $1 million company so no minimum wage coverage.).

Socialist/Communists after January, 2021 would have guaranteed me a huge wage and paid for free college.

If I had borrowed it would have paid my college loan debt off.

I’m waiting for Sanders to promise a car to go to college and free housing. Like the immigrant Tsarnov brothers who rode two BMWs in “doughnuts” in parking lots according to a pal, before blowing the arms and legs off children and adults at the Boston Marathon with a bomb.

I was born too soon. Should have waited for the glorious workers’ state paradise. Darn it.

Plus he wants open borders...

Americans will be unemployable in their own country.

What a jerk.

Hours will be cut to wk with a loss of health and vacation benefits. They can legislate an hourly rate but not how to make it work.

Of course, it will cause massive poverty and dependence on the Government.

Funny I was just reading the post about Mitt Rommney when I started writing this and then I realized I was replying to the post about Bloomberg. I realized that in my mind that they are the same. Along with many other business leaders.

Republicans should get behind a counter offer of $12.50 minimum wage and get this divisive issue OFF THE TABLE.

Tens of thousands of marginal employees will become unemployed immediately, and tens of thousands more over a few years.

The too low minimum wage causes use of govt assistance not the other way around.

I agree with you, but with massive illegal immigration a high minimum wage just causes unemployment among Americans not the illegals.

Even states who are not buying into this are already raising prices, doing away with workers in fast food, grocery stores putting in more scan/bag your own devices. Pizza places are now adding surcharges or stop delivering. Those rotating self check out are fine for a few items, not a weeks worth of groceries.

Nail salons will raise prices but since they are family owned jabbering Koreans won’t effect pay.

This might speed up automation in three trucking industry. Truckers love Trump and face a future of unemployment. In rural areas truck driving is one highest wage opportunities

"Bloomberg Announces Labor Plan Promising $15 Minimum Wage"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to establish a national minimum wage.

Simply put, corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification lawmakers exploit low-information voters by using the constitutionally indefensible campaign promise of minimum wage to win their votes to stay in power.

Remember in November!

MAGA! Now KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)

“Bloomberg announces plan to outlaw employment for low-value workers, transfer their work to higher value workers, and reduce high value workers pay to offset the lost productivity.”
