An Alabama state representative filed a ridiculous bill Thursday to attack pro-lifers efforts to save unborn babies by forcing men to get vasectomies.
State Rep. Rolanda Hollis, D-Birmingham, was a vocal opponent of the 2019 Alabama law that protects unborn babies by banning all abortions. The law is not being enforced because of a legal challenge.
On Thursday, Hollis lashed out against pro-life lawmakers efforts by filing a bill mandating vasectomies for every Alabama man, Yellowhammer News reports.
Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men, the summary of her bill, House Bill 238, reads. This bill would require a man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first.
It also would require men to pay for the vasectomy themselves, according to the report.
Pro-abortion Democrats talked about introducing a forced vasectomy bill in 2019 while the legislature was debating the pro-life law, the report states.
The vasectomy bill is to help with the reproductive system, and yes, it is to neutralize the abortion ban bill it always takes two to tango, Hollis said, according to The Hill. We cant put all the responsibility on women. Men need to be responsible also.
Interestingly, in September 2019, Hollis was arrested on charges of domestic battery after she allegedly shoved her husband during a dispute, the Birmingham News reports.
Her bill is a complete waste of time, and there is no chance of it passing the state legislature.
It also fundamentally misunderstands the purpose of pro-life laws and other efforts. Pro-life advocates goal is to protect unborn babies who are unique, living human beings from the moment of conception, not to control women. Quite the opposite, pro-lifers strive to empower women by supporting them through pregnancy and parenting even as they work to restore basic rights to unborn babies. They also work to help fathers who currently have no right to protect their childs life before birth.
What ever happened to “my body, my choice”. Hypocrites
Her face is better birth control then a vasectomy. She fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Seems to have cultural appropriation of blonde hair.
Rolanda Hollis. As if she came up with this stunt on her own. LOL. I guess she doesn’t want to propose any legislation regarding domestic violence given her arrest last year.
A review of the Birds and Bees may be in order.
Itch needs to research that Margaret Sanger was anti-reproductive rights and wanted to prohibit ALL women from having babies after WWII.
Feminazis are gonna NAZI.
I like that they used her mug shot for the photo accompanying the article.
Which he can't.
Sheesh.
Cunning jackass implies women are being forced to have hysterectomies.
The plus side of lazy online journalism!
We have misogyny.
noun
hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women, or prejudice against women.
Sure will be happy when this equal rights thing takes off.
More proof of how hateful and dangerous leftists and feminists are. They want to destroy you, kill you, castrate you.
They are evil, folks.

Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men,
BS. Try refusing to pay child support. Try insisting on parental rights on an unborn baby you have fathered.
Her picture leads me to believe that she suffers from constant acute constipation.
Is she related to Lorena Bobbitt?
They want to destroy you, kill you, castrate you.
They primarily want to de-power and de-masculinize men.
Yellow man bad, white man worse. Toxic stupidity. Already at pandemic levels in the republic.
Birmingham. It figures.
This loon would make a good match for Representative John Rogers. For those not familiar with Rogers, he makes Maxine Waters look like a MENSA member.
