Upstate NY, in the areas where people and businesses bordering Canada that most use NEXUS already are strongly anti-Cuomo. Not sure what he is thinking.
Having said that, Buffalo and Niagara Falls (city) are blue dots in a sea of red. I wonder if Democrat Congressman Higgins is asking Cuomo for a favor?
IIRC the State of New York issues drivers licenses that can act as passports to cross the US/Canadian border.IIRC several states do...those states being close to the Canadian border.
I think Cuomo’s actions here are being driven more by liberal air travelers in the NYC area than by U.S.-Canada border crossers.
