CONCORD, N.H. Amy Klobuchar rode a late-breaking wave of momentum over the past week to finish third in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday night, vaulting from relative obscurity into contention for the Democratic nomination for president.

There is no such thing as a moderate Democrat. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. There is no such thing as a moderate Fascist.
she’ll be somebody’s Veep though.
I suspect this vote was Trumps operation chaos .
Mayor Pete and Klobuchar are running for Bloombergs VP slot.

that could be it
That story of her drinking beer at 6AM made me smile.

For crying out loud, did you watch the video instead of just sucking up the headline?
She took a sip.

One way to look at amy’s 3rd place is who else was there to finish 3rd?
Somebody had to be 3rd. It’s the way arithmetic works.
And it wasn’t going to be the Greatest Liar in the History of American Politics.
And it wasn’t going to be Quid Pro Quo Joe, father of the greatest scam artist in the history of American Corruption.
And it wasn’t going to be any of the Absolute Nobodies on the list.
That leaves Amy.
She’s celebrating, but what did she really achieve. 3rd place BY DEFAULT.
Nonsense.
NH Democrats #s 1, 2, 3, and 4 issue was beating Trump. It's all they talked about, they've been frantic about it on Facebook and in public for weeks.
You can't sit in a diner or go get coffee at work without hearing it.
Amy Klobuchar, who campaigned here as "Amy", came in third after all. But she was the unity choice of Dem voters who a) Couldn't vote for Bloomberg because he wasn't on the ballot, b) Know in their rational mode that neither Bernie Sanders or Mayor Pete is going to be the next President, and c) Preferred "Minnesota nice" over the two weirdos Biden and Warren.
In their minds, the people are going to turn against Trump because he's not nice. Who knows, that may even be true.
But none of this matters, because Bloomberg is the nominee and they all know it. After the fantasy votes for Sanders and Pete, "Amy" was the voters clear choice for VP.
It's not more complicated than that.
After California’s voting tallies of having more vote than registered it creates the thought that there may be a possibility of tampering with the caucus. The libs/socialists are not in a good place right now so a refreshing alternative moving away from the main stream candidates in the press is a good way to settle down their free fall for a moment.
Klobuchar has no more way of winning than Bernie or Joe. In the past, when they have pulled some unknown out into the spotlight like Clinton or Obama, they had the advantage of having a very poor public opinion of the GOP candidates due to press attacks and liberal high lights for little needed “warm fuzzies” they could dupe the public with. Trump has already disposed of them and has a crowd appeal better than the lib candidates combined.
I get the feeling that whoever they send up against DJT, they know they are going to get waxed so they may not be sending their big guns up to get wasted when Trump can’t run in 2024. I think they have conceded to him and aren’t working for 2020, just putting in the time.
Too much of the success the GOP is having right now is not because of a concerted effort of the group. It’s because they were forced by public opinion to use a candidate even they thought couldn’t win or do the job. And they stumbled into success based upon his efforts, not theirs. And the only real reason they are backing him now is they want to keep their jobs so they are riding his wave of popularity, not the GOP’s.
The public hired a shrewd businessman with Trump and not a politician. But after all, that’s what the job really is, not a beauty contest as it has been partially transformed into. And the last president that was business ahead of politics was Reagan. Good company there. Again not another BS politician. He went for the throat when needed. And no GOP president since has done business that way pre-Trump playing both sides of the aisle and thus getting made the fool. Trump is always business even if he throws in a little flair. His point is always recognizable if you just look. It’s there.
So unless the voting booths are not left alone, it isn’t a matter of who will run against Trump. It’s who will be the sacrificial lamb. And then get ready for the ride in 2024. That’s when the GOP will not have a Trump to throw into the ring. And then it’s God help us.

No joke - this is the only NH primary headline at Yahoo now.
Something must have changed because the headline I saw was a photo and story about Sanders winning.

My mental picture of klobuchar is her smiling while slandering Matthew Whittaker and Brett Kavanaugh in Senate hearings.
“””””””””she is the new Obama.””””””””””””””””
Say what, bro????
She is a frumpy, dull slug who has never accomplished a thing. She is the senator here in Minnesota and I never see her doing anything.
Her whole schtick consists of one thing...ORANGE MAN BAD.
Agreed, but Klobuchar wears the sheep's clothing.
Watching the candidates jostle around in a Demonicrat presidential primary is like watching the floaters swirl around the toilet when it flushes.
Every time I hear Klobuchar speak, I am distracted by her breaking voice and never hear what she has to say.
They have "big guns"????????????
Amy Klobuchars third place victory speech.
‘Yahoo I won a participation award. Ain’t I great”.
Yes, this is the surviving Democrat second string—Bernie, Buttboy, and Klobuchar. Who will be the sacrificial lamb to lose to Trump? They seriously cannot think one of these three could actually win, do they? And Bloomberg, he’s a more visible Soros spending money to promote an agenda, not to win.
But "never accomplishing a thing" is now practically part of the job description for US Senator.
Klobuchar is Gillibrand + 20 IQ points.
