Am I a Pollyanna or am I right in saying that in a nation that increasingly celebrates depravity even we are not ready for a Proud Homosexual with a First Gentlemen?
I can’t see it. I just can’t. It’s a Bridge too far. Perhaps I overestimate the culture of America.

I said that about Obama in early 2008.

For some reason I initially read that as “Fist Gentleman,” and that answers the question.
