Orin Hatch’s statistic is a great point (and I didn’t know this), but I’ve been thinking about something related to Trump’s (supposed) trouble with educated white suburban moms (I am one). I don’t think white suburban moms fear being murdered by black men in their 20s. What they fear most is their children being murdered at school by a school shooter—often white.
What Trump/the GOP might consider pointing out is that the homicide rate in schools is DOWN by a LOT compared to 20 years ago.
Still, I’d bet at this point that voters like me (who are parents) fear school shootings more than they fear black violence or for that matter even Islamic terrorism. The GOP would do well to keep that in mind. I think we are vulnerable in this area (and pretty much only this area? Truly no one really cares about climate change, not even Democrats, when asked to rank issues of importance.)
Good point, and you should write to the GOP and tell them to hammer this point home. My kids are grown, but do visit the downtown area for dinner out, events, etc. One of their friends was wounded during a robbery downtown and my kids no longer go there unless its with a group of 4 or more. As I said before, their fears are learned behavior and blacks have a long road ahead to fix it. Passing laws making discrimination illegal is sorta like a No Peeing sign in a public swimming pool...nice idea, but not effective.

Suburban moms moved to the suburbs to take their kids out of the crime areas. But don’t they worry about anything else besides school shootings? Like their kids being taught they can choose their gender, kids being propagandized to hate their country and favor socialism, kids not getting into the college of their choice due to being white, the economy, etc.?
If people are worried about school shootings STOP letting the libtard administrators keep them GUN FREE ZONES, aka target rich environments.
