That wasn’t Ron Glass. He wasn’t in the film as he would’ve been filming “Barney Miller” at the time.
The character in the scene, “Roach”, was played by Herb Rice, who had only 3 credited roles. A shame, since he did such an excellent job in this scene with that “1000-yard stare” after eliminating the shouting VC guy.
