No Democrat broke ranks to support President Trump.

That’s the difference between them and us.

Gordon is the only one to pay a price. Thompson can say he was a martyr. The rest were reelected.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too because I heard that this (Romney) was the first time Republicans broke rank. I forget who said it but it didn’t sound right.

For Democrats who are hoping people will boot the GOP from control of the Senate because of their impeachment vote are in for a huge disappointment.

People don’t care. Its not even a burning issue among the moonbats.

Almost no one turned out for last night’s “reject the coverup” event.

That says it all.

So based on that, there’s a 30% chance Romney will change parties and a 20% chance he will be defeated.

One difference Romney will have the troll master helping to campaign against him.

Romney deserves to be shunned.

McConnell should ignore him for the rest of his term.

He is a man without a country.

It seems when “jumping Jim Jeffords” switched and began caucusing with the democrats he actually gave control of the senate to the dark side. This guy and Romney, a match made in hell.

I haven’t heard that. What I’ve heard, and the liberal media is making a big deal out of, it’s the first time that someone from the party of the President being impeached has voted for conviction. And this appears to be true.

Yeah, I’m just thinking about the braking rank part. You’re probably right on the rest — I don’t follow it that closely to know the details.

Pierre will be in his mid 70s when his term expires. He'll be rich, have his Senate pension in addition to his Massachusetts state pension...and he'll be invited to appear on MSLSD whenever he wants.

I'll wager that Pierre never had any intention to seek a second term.

Thompson’s daughter died suddenly. And he didn’t want to be in the senate anymore.

Elect enough senators to make up for Collins, the Alaskan Sea Kow & Romney and McConnell can afford to!
Until then Romney will have to be bargained with.

Romney was first Republican to break ranks to vote guilty on impeachment of a President of his party.

Some Republicans voted NG for Clinton- who was a Democrat President.

Too much work. Getting elected was all about satisfying his ego.
