After President Trump left the House floor last night, Nancy Pelosi banged her gavel stating both Houses were "dissolved." Shortly thereafter, she banged the gavel again calling the House to order, and then left the House floor.

A man (not sure who, sorry) then took the podium and recognized Steny Hoyer who called for the SOTU speech to be entered into the record, and called to adjourn the session.

Watching her chewing her cud throughout the whole speech, I was thinking she had a long time to ‘chew’ about her perceived slight when Trump didn’t see her extend her hand. I am surprised she didn’t strokeout during the speech. I don’t think her shredding the speech was planned. She just couldn’t contain herself! (PS-he didn’t anticipate shaking hands with her or Pence. Deal with it, Pelosi! You took him by surprise and he didn’t even notice you!)

By MY count, Pelosi tried to cross talk behind Trump’s back while he was speaking. She made 8 attempts to engage Pence in conversation. Pence stayed stone faced, except for when her waving arm was in his face. She wouldn’t survive a day on the playground with her manners.
