Nearly a week ago, before her antics at the state of the Union speech, I predicted that Nancy Pelosi was a "spent force" who would not return As Speaker of the House even if her party retained control.

Now she has certainly provided additional reasons why she will not return: her antics in tearing up the president's speech will be played and replayed in Republican ads to lethal effect because they betray a meanness of spirit but, more important, they also reveal that it was her petulance that motivated impeachment.

With this unseemly spectacle at the very Well of American Democracy for all the country to witness, Pelosi demonstrated the malevolent fraud that is the impeachment, the rank partisanship of her Congress.

It is this incivility that is such a turnoff to the very white, educated, suburban women who are critical to Democrat election chances and who are the rank and file that keep Nancy Pelosi in the speakership. She has just offended her own base. She has just inverted the argument about Trump's crassness and dumped it upon herself and her party.

Given that the communist Democrats do not understand (or they ignore) science and economics, it is no surprise that Pelosi is critical of highly-effective free market solutions being proposed by President Trump’s administration.

The free market solutions are already producing results, and promise maybe an order of magnitude reduction in health care costs, as our health care system restructures itself. This is a BIG deal!

The Democrats continue to force fit their failed policies on the USA. Maybe more and more patriots realize that and are switching parties. Otherwise, we will continue to see blame and failure as evidenced by the Democrat Iowa caucus debacle.

Actually, I think what Nancy did (and the other Democrats) will help sway a lot of independents at the petty and political approach the Democrats are taking toward governance.

Rather than hurting, I think it will help Trump's chances of getting re-elected. However, I do agree that Trump should campaign by focusing on the good he has done as that is what people want. They want a leader who leads and accomplishes positive things for the country. The Democratic party leadership is showing the voters the contrast.
