If it really is Stage 4 already, I think you’re right that it’s a matter of months.

My BFF died of lung and liver cancer. Not a smoker, not a drinker. Her ONLY hint that anything was wrong was a shortness of breath, but she thought that was due to her returning to Sea Level after visiting her sister in Colorado.

Nope. On the day of her diagnosis, they gave her 3 months; she told them to try out any and all experimental drugs on her so she could be of use to others. She made it to 6 months. In the end she was basically sedated all the time.

It’s already been 20 years and I still miss Cathy every day. :(

The five-year relative survival rate for stage 4 lung cancer is 4.7 percent. :'(
