Steve Bannon lays out a shocking scenario of the real reason behind Bloomberg's investment of $2 billion in politics
American Thinker ^ | February 3, 2020 | Thomas Lifson

If Steve Bannon is correct, Michael Bloomberg has no intention of occupying the Oval Office. Bloomberg is investing his fortune in a "leveraged buyout" of the party, installing himself as the oligarch who calls the shots, including the selection of the candidate to win the presidency.

With the addled and corrupt Biden faltering, Bloomberg is fighting a holding action to prevent Bernie Sanders from capturing the nomination.

Death means nothing when there are Foundations holding the wealth, and “woke” University Graduates to work “magic” on the world with an unlimited budget.

Did Bloomberg block the Iowa poll?

Did Bloomberg delay the Iowa results?

All to blunt Bernie & AOC’s victory in the state?

It is what Hillary did in 2016, when the DNC was bankrupt. She funded it, and in return, received all sorts of special treatment.

If Bloomburg is “buying” out the liberal machine, that could mean he is buying out Soros, and that might be a good thing.

You remember the plot details of that movie WAY too accurately. You need to get out of the house and in the sunshine. Find your old baseball glove and stretch your arm out.

“Sounds reasonable. And, actually, if that’s how it plays out, it’s better for America.”

Uh, no it isn’t.

If a “reasonable” Democrat wins the Presidency, he/she will be appointing judges at all levels; he/she will be making our economic policy, foreign policy and defense policy. He/she will be advised by dozens to hundreds of Leftists, who have no interest in the success of this country. No matter how reasonable, such a POTUS will be a disaster for this country.

No, the ONLY thing that is good for this country is the utter defeat and dismantling of the Democrat Party. In this election cycle, the only person that could possibly allow for that to happen as a Dem is Bernie Sanders. Only he could elicit such disgust, by virtue of his incredibly extremist positions, as would get millions of Dems to stay home, paving the way for 325+ Republicans in the House.

“If a “reasonable” Democrat wins the Presidency... “

Not what was meant. Bloomberg can’t win. If Bloomberg takes control of the DNC, he will save it from the squad. A more reasonable Democrat party would be easier to deal with. Thus, good for America.

If Mini Mike is paying $2 billion for the Democrat party, he is getting ripped off.

I’ve always figured his purpose was to level the field, so Skunk Cabbage could gallop onto the Convention floor for her rematch. I still believe that’s the case.

I concur. And what’s in it for Bloomingidiotberg?

The VP position.

The squad is the future of the Dem Party. Yes, they may be shut out now and even in 2024, but they are the future owing to their age (and the age of their supporters).

The Dems went hard Left starting in 1972, and aside from a few blips (Carter and Clinton) they haven’t looked back. It has been getting worse over time, and will continue until you get full-on Communists. Given the educational system and the media in this country, that is the only conclusion that is realistic.

Bloomberg buying out the Party will only work, if at all, for a little while. It is just buying time - and the old guard of fairly realistic, rational Dems knows this.
