But flu...
Thanks for the thread!
Looks like trolls messing with the chat on youtube.
Any reports on how the forced quarantines of Americans coming from Wuhan went yesterday and today?

The good news in the update is that 101 patients in Hubei province were discharged yesterday, which is the highest number of releases so far
That's not a very high fatality rate, and the confirmed cases don't include those who may have contracted it and are either asymptomatic or don't have it badly enough to seek treatment, in which case they undoubtedly don't know they have it. Heck, any one of us might have already had it.

do you think the 1000’s in serious or critical condition will some how all live?
“That’s not a very high fatality rate, and the confirmed cases don’t include those who may have contracted it and are either asymptomatic or don’t have it badly enough to seek treatment...”
Neither does it include people who have died from it (outside a hospital setting) and haven’t been diagnosed.
“That’s not a very high fatality rate”
Assuming the Chinese government isn’t underreporting the number of fatalities.
This is the link I'd check if you want to follow the grand total more compulsively than once a day. It also has a breakdown geographically, a click map, and listings of serious, critical, and suspected cases, as well as the usual known/dead figure.

They seem to love telling how many cases and how many deaths and then declare a 2% mortality rate. Why don’t they report number of recovered cases? If there are 400 deaths and 400 recovered, that’s 50%.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that there is no real evidence of "mild cases" of Wuflu. I'd feel a little better if they would get some of these people on TV for interviews or whatever. Until then, they are like Sasquatch...mentioned, but never verified.
165 cases in the world outside China.
Exactly where the last pandemic was in the early 1900's.
