“advanced”

Does that mean stage 4? If so the outlook is not great.

he should be more specific-

Stage 3 is also advanced, and very treatable in many cases

My BIL had stage 4 diagnosis... he lived for 5 years. Though the last year wasn’t so good.

Advanced us usually stage 4 though there is a stage 5.

My longtime neighbor just received a similar diagnosis, though he never smoked. The reason you rarely hear of stage 1, 2 or 3 is there are no symptoms in the early stages.

Urgent and sincere prayers for Rush, his entire family as well as for my neighbor, Paul, just diagnosed last week with the same.

Cancer is not a death sentence anymore. Treatment has advanced. He has a hard road. But, it more depends on his over all health.
