There is no political reason for Murkowski to vote for witnesses. I think she is giving Collins an out unless they have a Dem in the pocket. My prediction is she is a no.
Jones is a dead man walking. He can stick with the Dems and hope that helps in whatever political ambitions he may have after he gets defeated in 2020.
At least it will end any chance Doug Jones has of holding on to his temporary Alabama Senate seat if he votes yes.

I have my doubts on the Reps calling all the witnesses the President wants. Graham is not in favor of calling Hunter or Joe. The Collins/Murkowski/Alexanader/Romney coalition may vote with the Dems to block various Rep witnesses. Collins wants a one for one deal.

Romney thinks he is bulletproof in being reelected to the Senate in 4 years in Republican Utah. I noticed that a Utah state legislator introduced a bill the other day to allow the electorate to recall a Senator in Republican Utah. Love to see his butt recalled after he votes for witnesses
