you guy are killing me...
can’t speak for yesterday..but today..no problem with a flight.

I think it is safe to say if he wanted to be in DC today he could have made it happen.

“I think he meant it was difficult to book a trip in/out of Miami over the weekend BECAUSE of the Superbowl, not that he was going to it.”

That makes sense to us in one way. We’re cruising out of there on Saturday, and all airline and hotel situations are a hot mess, and have been for several months. Super Bowl has impacted every travel-related industry. But I think that, while he might have had a problem getting IN to the Miami area, getting OUT should not have been a problem.

He was interview via a screen. He wasn’t sitting at the table.

You have hit the nail on the head.

I blame it on the “new curriculum”. Logic is not taught, compositions are not required to be constructed, There is no practice in building from examples to conclusions.

We have lived through a great dumbing down of society. The saftey net & nanny state cushion people from the harsh realities that would have taught them in earlier times. Keep them dumb and dependent, the Democratic way

“I was on that plane on several occasions as the manifests will show, but never under circumstances where it would have been possible to have sex with Jane Doe #3,” Dershowitz’s statement read. “On a couple of occasions I was on his plane with my wife and daughter. There were never any young girls on the plane during any of my trips.”

Let’s keep it simple.... Maybe he was threatened and the flight was a convenient excuse.

His defense theory was total nonsense, rejected by the other members of the defense team.

Yeah right.

That’s what he says.

I got a bridge to sell anyone believes he was on that plane 11 times just to consult with his client. Also one of the things these men are told is get on the plane a couple times with your wife and your kids. That makes it look good.

That’s what Bill Clinton did.

I just think there something sneaky about that guy.

Sure, I can buy into that one.

Or he has just had enough with the luney left and wanted out to preserve what he could of his life.

But the flight thing is a definite excuse.

it’s a possibility his schedule was known before hand and he wasn’t required to be present during the rest of the impeachment proceedings...

I repeat Philbin’s word

RADICAL

as he distanced the team from Alan.

Knowing full well that the opposing side would pounce on it..he used it anyway.

IDK.
I watched his interview on the Mark Levin Show. He made a very good impression on the Epstein situation.

He was so incensed he wrote a book “Guilt by Accusation: The Challenge of Proving Innocence in the Age of #MeToo”.(January 1, 2019)

On the Levin Show he came across like Pence, committed to his wife and living his life so as not to allow aspersions to be cast. Impressions are not facts but I will continue to give him the benefit of the doubt.

He is taking a lot of heat from erstwhile friends, colleagues, the press because he speaks out for what he thinks is right even though he is a longstanding Democrat. That says to me principle matters deeply to him as does doing the right thing. He could have easily stepped aside and not have spoken up against the Shampeachment process but he has been consistent and unflinching despite personal cost.

There is a belief in many, especially Jews, that if you do not speak up when you see injustice you are part of the injustice. That appears to be Dershowitz’s driving motivation. That does not square with a pedophile IMO.

“to fight back against a tidal wave of criticism for his extraordinary defense that anything a president does to get re-elected is unimpeachable. “

That requires a lot of paraphrasing of paraphrasing to get there. He said no such thing.

Doesn’t anyone remember before the trial started, when people were making a big deal about his taking a different title from the defense team? He was always considering himself to be not a direct part of the team, and merely a reference to the Constitutional questions.

This is a futile exercise. You don’t know what his time constraints were for the flight. You don’t know if he used miles and there are no more reward seats on the flight he wanted. If money is no object there is always a way; so what are you really proving.
As was his argument there are always dual or multiple factors in a human decision. He was essentially saying that the cost/difficulty of changing the flight was too much in exchange for what he felt he could bring to the remainder of Shampeachment.

He was there because his presence showed that it was a nonpartisan argument. He is a life long democrat. His voice made the defense non partisan.

I agree he was a good addition to the legal team. Made it almost impossible to call the team Trump sycophants.

I sort of feel sorry for Alan, though. He lost his liberal friends and now knows what all DemParty heretics feel: betrayed, attacked, unjustly vilified.

Ask any black conservative or hispanic Republican, or any proLife woman!
