Zinman’s twin Yevgeny apparently was the leaker. Bolton submitted the manuscript to the NSC as required for pre-vetting, and then Zinman or someone else leaked something, possibly what the NYT said, possibly just that there was a book. Now the NSC has said it can’t be published as presently drafted. So Bolton can either not publish it, or delete the objectionable material and then publish it.

Still, my question wasn’t answered. Did Bolton used editors and publishing agents that were cleared for Top Secret information? If not, he should go to jail.

Don’t forget a soldier spent one year in jail for taking a picture of a submarine. This is far worse.

It would be crazy if you write a book you can provide Top Secret information to any editor or publishing agents without them have a Top Secret Clearance.
