I’m sure shitholes are prime breeding grounds for stuff like this.
Lots of HIV compromised men in SF.
Coronovirus will go through them like a welding torch into butter.
This is why SF is being so proactive.
Where the Corona Virus goes to die
EVERY thread is for hating on SF and California. It has always been thus. And it’s legitimate when speaking of rampant disease and tens of thousands of selfish Chinese who go back and forth to China and -knowingly- get on planes while sick.
I’m living south of SF. Getting my bug-out supplies ready.
We have a close friend who’s daughter is a nurse at SF General, the county hospital. From what she tells us, her daughter’s been working 12-16 hour days for the past week gearing up the hospital and others in the area for the expected coronavirus invasion.
The health care people aren’t taking this Schiff lightly. Let’s hope, like 20 years ago with Y2K, the preparation is far greater than the need to implement it.
Shitholes hit the hardest?
God bless her, I’d be nervous if I was her, brave woman.
A shame that she and her family consider Stephen Colbert to be a legitimate journalist, while anything on Fox (old or new) is all made up.
Think I have more confidence in the Red Chinese than the weirdos in San Fran.
I can always count on you.
Enjoy that west coast seafood.
just a brief distraction from florida man...
Just where did you learn THAT? Or did you just make that up on the spot?
Did you push the buzzer like a doorbell to announce Here I am!?
Add Hep B to your list.
I thought the same thing, but broader than AIDS. All the public health wrecks in SF, there have to be thousands and thousands of susceptible people with very compromised immune systems.

Thank you for that. I worked on teams preparing utility companies for Y2K. It was very real and had the ability to really make a mess of our basic utility services and potentially knock big equipment out for months.
I keep reading that MERS and SARS were no big deal. I believe a big reason that was the case was the big efforts that went into containment, diagnosis, and treatment. It was very similar to Y2K, as you say.
The good news this time around is the genome has already been sequenced and vaccines and diagnostic test are already being developed. This time it took a few short weeks to sequence the genome rather than six months like the MERS and SARS outbreaks. The aggressive efforts being launched this month are going to pay off enabling cynics a year down the road to say See? It was no big deal and blown all out of proportion. People who say those things have never been on the inside to see what went into making it no big deal.
I am happy to hear that news from your friends daughter.
My son starts his ambulance internship this Friday night to complete his Paramedic training. He is working in San Mateo County on the San Francisco Peninsula where SFO is located.
You are right. I bet the Chinese do not crap on the street as the rest of SF.
