His audience is history. The votes of the senators are already known. This is a partisan act from alpha to zed, with a few fringe actors not following that pattern.
The press will continue to parrot the DEM arguments, framing of issues, and premature conclusions.
And that will cause the DEMs to dig in even harder on thier nutty positions.

On Sunday, the New York Times published an article alleging that President actions were in direct contradiction of his statements and actions that no pressure was ever put on Ukraine to advance a demand for an investigation of the Bidens. The proof of this is an excerpt from the manuscript of Bolton’s book that was leaked to the NYT. The entire manuscript has not been released. This manuscript has been in the hands of the NYT for days or weeks. They chose to configure it as a command detonated improvised explosive device (IED) to be used when the enemy approached. They detonated when after the Saturday successes of the Trump Defense team.
The response to this leak by Free Republic was, unfortunately, very predictable with the usual suspects launching in full cry to blame our side for the turn of events. The proper response was issued by Representative Jordan this morning: the leak does not change the basic facts showing that the President was acting well within his Constitutional powers, following the legal framework of our foreign policy with Ukraine, and is perfectly proper.

Don’t get me started on those damn electronic objects the kids have in their hands constantly. The game garbage is not only making them stupid it’s making them unable to do anything outside. Add in Xbox and Minecraft and junk like Fortnite and you have a BIG problem.
I tried to teach a 7 year old how to ride a bicycle a few weeks ago. That was interesting. Tried to teach a 10 year old how to hammer nails in a wood fence this past weekend. I thought someone was gonna get killed. At those ages I was very physically active and was reading high school books.
I’d agree you are correct, many young folks can’t think on their own. And gosh forbid you need to discuss civics or history with them. Gives me the chills.
What is "leisure"? I don't have time to watch hours and hours of trial testimony. Especially since I took the time to watch the trial today.
These trial speakers should not be cut short to satisfy peoples work scheduales or their life...rather to specifically. and with good representation, defend our President to the Senate.
Of course. But I'll bet that many low-information voters -- turning in for the first time today -- were turned off by Starr's lengthy lecture, right out of the gate. I'm sure they wanted to learn whether or not President Trump really did anything considered to be an "impeachable offense".
OK, we're done with Starr. Onto the MEAT now...
As an aside, I like Mark in almost any venue except for some of his radio show...a little too much reliance on clips, and gets into screaming mode too much.
