Mechanical ventilation hopefully will help lower the mortality rate if it hits the west. However if the virus is causing organ failure or sepsis than nothing can really prevent a high mortality rate.
“Mechanical ventilation hopefully will help lower the mortality rate if it hits the west.”
How many mechanical ventilators do you think there are?
I have some experience with sepsis. Killed a healthy young teenager. Time of death from Flu diagnosis to death from pneumonia/sepsis was less than 48 hours. Went into coma during the medevac. Symptomatic perhaps two days before diagnosis.
There have been some recent things that have helped with Sepsis but I don’t remember what they were. Perhaps I should research that again.
