The President’s legal team absolutely DESTROYED the Democrat’s “case” today - piece by piece. Calmly. Professionally. Compellingly.

Anyone with an even remotely open mind can see that the Democrats have no case. No evidence. No notta. You don’t even have to be a blind, right leaning partisan to think that.

It frustrates me beyond words that this farce is still continuing, and that supposedly “objective” people like FNC hosts (Cavuto, looking at you, pal), actually continue the charade. Of course, it’s good for ratings, so that’s probably at least part of the reason why. But, geesh..this thing is OVER after that presentation by the defense today.

And for the supposedly “gettable” (RINO) Senators like Romney - it’d be political suicide to vote for witnesses after the rock solid, compelling case put on by the President’s legal team this AM. Even Murkowski at least theoretically “should” see there’s no other choice than to wrap this farce up - and do so quickly.

Can Roberts REALLY unilaterally force witnesses in his sole discretion? That’s what Stabenow (Rat-MI) claimed on Cavuto in the post-game coverage.

Please tell me he doesn’t have that kind of power..

-- It frustrates me beyond words that this farce is still continuing ... --

I was rattled when one of the usual suspects (Harris Faulkner) said the July 25 phone call could be fairly read the way the DEMs were reading it., And that was within minutes of the call record being made public. To my mind, it takes bad faith to read the DEM view into that call record. There is no way a person can, in good faith, read that call as referring to an impeachable offense.

Voting for witnesses after this morning's testimony would literally be Senate Republicans snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Sometimes I wish I were more computer savvy. The hearing comments make me think of Schiff as the Monty Python knight at that bridge yelling “Tis only a flesh wound.”

Yesterday was theatre. Today borderlined a snooze fest
