Schiff is droning on now . . . telling us what the Trump team is going to do.
He is trying to come off as someone highly intelligent.
Does anyone know how many more pages are in his notebook?
It doesn’t look like he’s half through.
Now he’s trying to appeal to feelings in lieu of facts.
The next 2-3 days are going to be great. Finally Trump gets a chance to defend himself in the senate, unlike the totally unfair DEM house. I believe Trumps team is going to crush Schiff, Nadler and the DEMS.
Oh wow now he’s denouncing expediency when he is the one to rush to judgement.

Bad mistake Schiff made there that you referred to...He alienated swing senators Collins & Murkowski. Murkowski thought Schiff is a good orator?? GAG.

“That’s not true,” Susan Collins said several times on the floor, shaking her head when Schiff cited a news report saying WH warned senators that a vote against Trump means “your head will be on a pike.” Risch also said aloud: “That’s not true.” Cotton laughed when Schiff said it.
Sen. Barasso said Schiff “offended every Republican senator” and that no Republican had been told that, referring to the CBS report
“He was doing fine with moral courage until he got to the head on the pike. That’s where he lost me,” Murkowksi said, per @jeffzeleny. “He’s a good orator you got to give him that ... He was moving right along ...and then he got to a couple places and it was just unnecessary.”

I thought the complaint was that Nancy took “forever” to send over the charges. I must say that after seeing the detail and complexity of the arguments and the exhibits it would have taken quite a lot of time to organize it all.

What the GOP senate is doing is enabling, if not secretly endorsing, a coup via a purely unconstitutional sham. It is nothing short of disgraceful.
Only a Democrat could be happy with the nonsense that’s going on in the senate.
Moreover, the Saturday scheduling of the opening of the president’s defense team’s rebuttal is an INSULT to Trump and the people who voted for him.
Never trust the GOP. They are nothing but an unprincipled lot of liars and deceivers who have no interest whatsoever in pursuing the conservative agenda.
Giving the dems anything other than the back of one's hand is stupidity or hidden agreement. This is not fairness. This is not showing the public anything.
Look at it this way: the blanket talk now is, "This is why we need more witness." Is anybody... I mean anybody highlighting the points made by Trump's team.... NO, they are not.
They should have slammed the door on the dems day one....Giving the dems anything other than the back of one’s hand is stupidity or hidden agreement.

The GOP could have shut this thing down, but they allowed this unconstitutional affront to proceed. As a result, thay are basically legitimizing and dignifying this disgraceful charade.
They don’t like Trump; they resent him because he is an outsider who wants to drain THEIR swamp. For this “sin” he must be drug through the mud.
The GOP is complicit in this in my view as they are allowing a very destructive precedent to be set. We are in desperate need of a new party.
