The Democrats must know that Trump is going to walk away with this election... so they need another fake narrative that they can play over and over right up till voters go to the polls. They would also love a reason to do another round of mass deplatformings. The last time they did this it was after an event in Charlottesville, Virginia. This latest pro 2A Virginia thing scheduled for Jan 20 is shaping up to be used to create another false event to give them the reasons they need to do it all over again.

A bunch of his Leftist buddies flew in from San Francisco, Portland and Seattle to pretend they were Nazis in order to create the bogeymen the Leftist desperately wanted.
They did this to get the Right censored, have funding pulled and removed from the web. Keep in mind they are pulling this stunt ahead of an election. Charlottesville was organized by communist subverts to hurt the Trump movement and give the left the event they desperately needed to make their case.

So what is your answer? Cancel the rally and then no one show up to support the Second Amendment? Then the media will spin it, “See no one cares about gun rights.”
Or show up, and then the media will spin it to say, “See these lunatics are here to mount an insurrection.”

You do not go to setups events where ANTIFA is going to show up and everyone has guns.

One of the taunts the British used in the early stages of the Revolutionary War was that the colonists would not engage as civilized soldiers. Which, if the Colonials chose to do, would have us singing "God Save the King".
I guess the point is that (using an example from the same period) you force the Redcoats fo march out into the countryside. The detachment that was dispatched to Lexington and Concord was getting cut down until they were reinforced.
But to take that step requires guts, and in this day and age, white hats to expose the Deep State buggers who are enabling this to take place, and a willingness to face the farce of "justice" in place to if action is tekan.
There is a growing sense of unease regarding Richmond this Monday. Amazing Polly’s research and insight add good information to the discussion. This situation must be handled with great wisdom and serious thought. It is not wise to walk blithely into what you strongly suspect will be a trap. However, the assault on the Second Amendment cannot go unanswered. What is the wise and thoughful response to this situation?
The rally in Richmond has all the hallmarks of a set-up. Yes, the current government has far overstepped the bounds of the rule of law and are deeply within the current flowing towards full tyranny. Yes, the people have a right to object to and protest this abuse of liberty and freedom. Unfortunately, the state government, the liars in the media, and the paid provocateurs lurking behind the scenes have control of the situation on the ground and will manipulate this situation to manufacture the optics they want to create.
I lived through the Ferguson riots and saw how these despicable people act. Ferguson was the first serious battleground in this war against America. Ferguson has not been in the national news for a long time. Why? Because the good guys won. Unlike Baltimore and other places that have been subjected to these attacks on the freedom of the individual, Ferguson is recovering nicely from the assaults of five years ago. Why was Ferguson not destroyed by these Alinskyite attacks? The amount of prayer cover over this city was astronomical.
The evil players in the unfolding Richmond saga are expecting this battle to go according to their script. Their plan is for freedom-loving and defending citizens to walk into a trap that will provide the opportunity for a horrific false-flag attack. Don’t give them that victory. While I am very aware of the overall tactics of Alinsky disciples, I know nothing about the specifics of the city of Richmond. However, I am confident that there are a large number of Bible-believing churches (not liberation theology, SJW fronts) in the Richmond area.
The best, on-the-fly reaction to the steps taken by the unfortunately legally elected government of Virginia is to switch the rally away from the Northam-devised kill box. Decentralize and shift the focus to communal prayers held in the various churches, coffee shops, hotel lobbies, and other sites in the area that are not under the control of the enemy forces. I saw God do things that were impossible for the good citizens of Ferguson to do and the results were amazing. God loves Richmond just as much as He does Ferguson and, if His people will ask, He will provide incredible answers.
Multiple gatherings of Bible-believing, God-trusting patriots, in diverse places away from the pre-planned targeted area, will produce a countermove to Northam’s evil plans in such a way that the country will be astonished. By all means, go to Richmond and make your prayers and voices heard. Just don’t walk into a pre-planned kill zone. Join with other believers (Where two or more are gathered in my Name, I am there, too) and ask God to intervene in ways you cannot. He has promised that if His people will humble themselves and pray, He will heal their land, their city, their state, and their country. Have faith in He who is stronger and wiser than you are and you will witness miracles.

We must be smarter and fight smarter than them and not fall into any kind of traps or set-ups.
One answer would have been to hold the pro-2A rally somewhere else, preferably in one of the sanctuary counties, where the police would be unlikely to assist the media in staging incidents to advance their anti-2A, anti-Trump agenda.
Since it looks like that will not happen, those who attend should stay together, stay peaceful, and take video of everything, to counter MSM propaganda.
Hold the rally somewhere else.

I have no idea how this horrible situation can be justly resolved. I understand the righteous anger that Virginians and all Americans feel at this assault on our God-given natural rights. I had no idea how my city was going to survive the daily assaults we endured from the pre-Antifa fools and the media. The only reason the justifiably angry good guys in Ferguson didn’t do anything blatantly stupid was because there were tons of effective prayers guiding us, even though we were usually unaware of both the prayers and the guidance. It was God answering those prayers in ways we could not conceive of that kept the horrible situation in Ferguson from becoming even worse. If invited, God will provide just and righteous answers and actions in Richmond.

As in years past, VCDL is sponsoring or providing several buses with regular citizens who will be carrying PRO TRUMP and MAGA hats.
What better than to start a ‘rumor’ that the VCDL buses will be carrying ‘them’???
This particular day ‘Lobby Day’ is being PUSHED as an event that was ‘dreamed up’ to protest the upcoming 2A assaults when, in fact, VCDL annually attends ‘Lobby Day’ and sponsors several buses.
Just have to hope the baby doesn’t get thrown away with the bathwater and hopefully the thugs will be handled as such.
There will be one sure way to ID VCDL members and supporters and our group has had great relationships with the local LEOs.
As to the ID I mentioned, don’t ask— it is one of those ‘if you know, you know or would have been told’ moments.
This wasn’t set up as a rally. January 20th is VCDL’s LOBBY day. This is where they directly meet with legislators and personally Lobby them on gun related legislation. Having a rally somewhere else doesn’t have the same effect.
