Good evening, radu...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Did you survive the storms of the day? Everything still standing?

Dot and I had a great time...good food (Mexico in Alaska...Dot has known the owner for years and years) and lots of catching up. Just before Christmas, while she had company, her sewer backed up. Gonna be a really expensive fix, but she is kinda glad to get it fixed and up to code so her daughter won’t have any issues when the time comes to sell it. It would never pass any inspection.

Hey there, Kathy.

Yes, we survived the storms with most everything intact. Had a section of gutter ripped loose and it’s folded up onto the roof. We’re glad that’s the only damage done and that all the trees are still intact. We got lucky but it was a scary time for a while. It’s hard to make me nervous during storms but I was today.

Glad you and Dot had a good time at lunch. As I recall, Mexico In Alaska serves large portions and you have leftovers for supper. Didn’t have to cook this evening!

They say everything happens for a reason and maybe it’s good her sewer had problems when it did. Now the house will be up to code when the time comes to sell it. Still a drag that it happened. Yuck!
