Will the Democrat Party refuse to allow her to run as a Democrat? Let her run as a 3rd party candidate and watch her lose her seat. 8>)
I don’t think they can stop her if she’s registered Democrat....remember Democrats refusing to seat black delegates back in the day? Now they could endorse another candidate even in the General Election (recall Adlai Stevenson refusing to run with a LaRouche supporter?)
I was unaware that Democrat House members were expected to pay dues to the DCCC. Now the DCCC supports candidates. I suppose House members in “safe” seats get very little if any of the money (even though they paid their dues), while those in competitive races, as well as Democrat challengers in competitive races, get much greater support.
AOC’s seat is safe Democrat. But I can understand that she wants all that money for her own self.
