Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday that she expects to send the articles of impeachment against President Trump over to the Senate next week to launch his long-awaited trial.
The move comes more than three weeks after the House passed two articles of impeachment against Trump over his dealings with Ukraine, and amid increasing pressure on the Speaker to drop her hold on the articles.
"I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the Floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate," Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democrats.

As she knows she’s completely f-ed the moment she delivers them, she is going to try to stall further and cannot reasonably be expected to deliver the articles on her stated timeline, or to deliver them at all on any timeline.
The numerous Senators running for President will be really pizzed if they get delivered shortly before the Iowa caucuses.
Isn’t this obstruction of justice, for the President, they
ran an unfair impeachment hearing in the house.
How long does Nadler take to do that appointment of ‘managers’ they should have been set up when the articles were voted on...
