Not missiles. Rockets. 9. No reports of any casualties. Likely from Iranian supported militias and not from Iran itself.
I suspect any direct Republican Guard Op. would be more than 9 Katyusha rockets.
The Iranians could easily launch the rockets from inside Iraq. Doing it from Iran seems to be inviting a response.
One truck mounted rocket artillery battery could drop way more than 9 rockets in a short time. Odd story. I don’t think we have all the details yet.
Iran isn’t worth invading. The Roman Emperor Julian in the fourth century had plans for it which had to be abandoned after they were stalemated.
Apart from the oil, it has no assets of great strategic importance.

Our democrat congress is busily signalling to Iran that they are neutering Trump so Iran can now do anything they want to us with impunity.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they are even coordinating strategy together. Some of Iran’s PR lately sounds like Democrats.
