Iranian retaliation begins with missile attack on Iraqi airbase

Initial reports stated that 9 rockets hit the Ain al-Assad airbase on Tuesday. The base hosts American soldiers.
Heavy missile attacks were carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps on the Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq that hosts both Iraqi and US soldiers on Tuesday night. Nine missiles hit the airbase, according to Al-Hadath.

Yes, one of my college professors was friends with the then British ambassador to Iran (this was before the fall of the Shah), and we all got invited to the professor’s house to meet the ambassador and hear him make a presentation about Iran,complete with slide show with the old Kodak slide projector. The British ambassador went on and on about what a wonderful country Iran was, how beautiful it was, all the wonderful architecture there, especially Isfahan. This was all before Iran got sent back to the Stone Age by the Ayatollah, supported by Dumbsh*t President Jimmah Cahtah. Then of course Iran took the hostages and Reagan wiped Carter’s butt off the map in the election.

They wanted to hit us hard enough to send us a message but not so hard they’re on the receiving end of it.
This is called saving face which is what you would expect from honor/shame societies.

Me too. But FoxBiz continues to play that Iran video as if they have launched all 1500 missiles now. Over and over and over with sound. It's ridiculous.

Well then now is there chance. An attack with no U.S casualties after taking out their #2 is the best you could ask for. If they keep going that’s another story but if they stop there that’s a message in and of itself of you ask me.

She’s 10X better than Tucker, however...
She keeps going on about how “No Americans were killed”. Well, while that’s great, Iran fired missiles where they know Americans are. Now if someone shoots at me, but misses, I don’t think he’s just being friendly.
Another point her experts said, the Al Assad base in in the Sunni area, and the other is Kurdish (Erbil), where there are no Shias. So are we to just say “OK, you can kill Iraqi Kurds and Sunnis, but since you didn’t kill our guys we won’t respond?”
I don’t think we can ignore this at all.
