At least 40 Iranians were crushed to death Tuesday in a stampede that erupted during the funeral for Qassem Soleimani, the general killed last week in a U.S. airstrike, the country’s state media is reporting.

I have been reading the Iranian people were told to show up or else. The average Iranian hates the mullahs. They have tried repeatedly to kick them out.
They were actually people that refused to attend the funeral and were shot.
So now Fox news is calling the murderous, terrorist bastard a “general?” Awesome.
Drawing that big a crowd you would think they would have flown the guy into town first class instead of coach.
I think the funeral procession for Ayatoilet Khomeini was even more of an overheated fiasco -- the coffin tipped, the body came out, ridiculous.
Worked with a guy years ago who was from Iran. Nice, soft-spoken man. He and his brother were forced to fight in the war with Iraq, was an anti-aircraft gunner. He said Iran is as close to Nazi Germany as there is (he was actively trying to get the rest of his family out of there - this was around ten years ago). He said their was anti-Semitic propaganda virtually everywhere and that the average Iranian is actually very pro-West and pro-American. He said it is purely the leadership and mullahs that are making everyone’s life miserable over there.
