Just heard a senator on Fox
tonight that stated 51 votes
were needed to change the rules.

They change change rules easily just like the Dems did.
People are going to be disappointed in the Senate. The Republicans primary concern are what the Senate Dems think.

Dismiss it without Witnesses... Schumer recommended the same thing with Clinton.

Dismissing a case before the court without discussion or review is legitimate. But courts have to react to something that has been presented. They cannot act preemptively. Logically, a court cannot “dismiss” a case that does not exist.
Based on the Constitution and precedent, the House must send a delegation to the Senate to deliver a charges and begin a prosecution. There is no basis for the Senate refusing to receive such a delegation. Unless and until the House has delivered charges, no case exists, and Trump has not actually been impeached. In keeping with the times, what we have here is a “fake impeachment”.
