If Trump attacks Iran it will be the first time since Curtis Lemay and Arthur ‘Bomber’ Harris of the UK took an air war of truly unlimited scope to the enemy. Those leaders did that during WWII and never since has the world seen such a horrific thing.
An unlimited strike against an enemy such as Iran would shock the world. There would almost literally be nothing left of them. Just a few million people wondering in a daze.
Then, ZERO funds from the US to rebuild the mess in Iran.
Sometime it is better to be feared than loved, with the whole Earth jealous of US stature and unwilling to grant us ANY pardon whatsoever when we take necessary action, this is such a time.
And Trump will lose the election if he did that without Congressional Approval.
What are they going to do - impeach him? Oh wait - that ship has sailed.
No, the people will impeach him. Going to war (that is, massive strikes and military actions) without Congressional Approval is a losing game.

We have every right and the duty to do it - congressional authorization he damned.
Let the lawyers argue whether that violates the War Powers Act, which is unconstitutional on its face.
