You are 100% right on the minds of Iran’s leadership and of the subversives that run Iraq now. Most of the guys that are running Iraq, and have been since Al Malicki, was “elected” spent considerable amounts of time in Iran. They and their families were not well liked by Hussein. He’s gone, they come back, backed by Iran and Iranian money and now Iran is using Iraq to try and evade sanctions and extorting them.
The militia’s are having their soldiers burn crops in Iraq, trying to force them to buy Iranian products.
The method that Soleimani used to get into Iraq was done to have him come in undetected. He didn’t come in on the commercial side of the airport. He was sneaking in. Or so he thought.
That air strike was a signal. It told the Iranian’s and Iraqi’s, that they can be smoked, anytime the President pushes the button. He knows where they are. What they’re doing. So, they may be keyboard commandos, now. But everyone of them is spending most of their time wondering if a JDAM is about to come through their roof.
