I don’t know about the Pope, but when you get elderly, things that others wouldn’t mind quite so much, really hurt.
I fell the other day. It was dark and I forgot I had moved some things in my bedroom. I tripped and was headed to the floor, when I hit a small suitcase standing on end.
Half my chest impacted on that suitcase. During the first moments after the fall, I thought there was a possibility of a serious injury.
Luckily, there wasn’t one. What it did do is tweak my ribs on my entire right side. If someone yanked me right now, like they did the Pope, it would really hurt, and might dislodge some ribs right now already loosened a bit.
You don’t put your hands on any official like that.
I’m 68 now. Pope Francis is 83. You should never yank and older person around like that.
I’m not bothered by his justifiable righteous indignation at all. Slapping at her hands like that would be the least of her problems if she had done that to me right now.
No doubt. I understand your thoughts on this
