I watched that video...it looked like that other cop was just trying to grab the guy (I don’t get that-he was assaulting a fellow cop!) but once it looked like the guy was trying to reach the gun, the guy began whacking him with the nightstick.
This to me is another case, if I interpret that correctly, of a police officer in peril because of the restrictions on action and trying to avoid a PR nightmare of having a cop whacking a guy with a nightstick on camera.
It would have been perfectly justified, but not the way the Left operates.
I know it’s fiction, but it seems like EVERY episode of ‘Blue Bloods’ has them trying to deal with the PR ramifications of a cop’s action. Or inaction.
The cop wielding the nightstick was a woman. Was doing little good....My gut said she knew the perp....and didn’t want to hurt him. Not one good whack in the bunch.
