To: White MAGA Man

“America made a huge stride in 2008 when voters picked Barack Obama, the first black man to serve in the nation’s highest office.”

Actually it wasn’t a huge stride, it was a disaster. Why do some people that are supposedly on our side feel compelled to repeat such drivel? Do they think that type of virtue signaling earns them any points.

And in making such an assertion, isn’t he accepting the premise that before we elected St. Barack we were vile people?

And just for accuracy sake, wasn’t Barack the first mulatto president?

There’s History which is this notion that there’s a grand narrative, that there’s a side of History to be on, and so it is capitalized.

Then there’s history which is simply what happens.

Making History is usually a damn poor reason to make history.

That is especially true in the case of Obama.
