House Democrats may conduct a second impeachment of President Trump, according to lawyers for the Judiciary Committee.
In a Monday court filing reported by Politico, House Counsel Douglas Letter argued that they still need testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn, which may uncover new, impeachable evidence that Trump attempted to obstruct the Russiagate investigation (of a crime he didn’t commit).
“If McGahn’s testimony produces new evidence supporting the conclusion that President Trump committed impeachable offenses that are not covered by the Articles approved by the House, the Committee will proceed accordingly — including, if necessary, by considering whether to recommend new articles of impeachment,” reads Letter’s filing.

The Democrats also argue that “McGahn’s testimony is critical both to a Senate trial and to the Committee’s ongoing impeachment investigations to determine whether additional Presidential misconduct warrants further action by the Committee,” adding that McGahn’s testimony may also be relevant to future legislation which may stem from the details of Trump’s conduct.
And while DOJ lawyers acknowledged in a Monday brief that the legal fight over McGahn isn’t moot, the fact that the House Judiciary Committee moved forward with impeachment on a completely different matter removes the urgency to resolve their case.
“The reasons for refraining are even more compelling now that what the Committee asserted — whether rightly or wrongly — as the primary justification for its decision to sue no longer exists,” wrote lawyers for the DOJ. The agency also argues that the Mueller impeachment investigation is over, when House lawyers and lawmakers have described it as ongoing and active, according to the report.

Many, many on the Left, including the democrat party, knew for some time that there was going to be a huge plan to STOP OR REMOVE, IF ELECTED, PRESIDENT TRUMP. I think it was generally circulated that,...NOT TO WORRY, WE HAVE ENTIRE POCKETS OF PEOPLE IN INTELLIGENCE, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND JUSTICE WHO WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE REALITY OF A TRUMP PRESIDENCY.
When you are PROMISED SOMEHTING and it doesn’t happen...well those with children will attest to the behavior of those under 5, who are not wise enough to admit they cannot get what they wanted so badly, and throw uncontrollable tantrums.
That is what is happening and it has gone past surprise, anger, disappointment and has become SCARY.
We will have to resolve this behavior, it is unhealthy.
There are solutions to this and the first one is to make absolutely sure that election 2020 is monitored very closely and run fairly and guarantee that:
DEMOCRATS NEVER WIN ANOTHER ELECTION. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT DESERVE IT.

I’m sure that there will be a 2nd impeachment as well as a 3rd. If the D’s continue to hold on to the House,the impeachments will continue. If they win the next congressional election for the House, they’ll consider it a “mandate” to continue with it.

I hope that the democrats vote to impeach Trump over and over again until the election. It would ensure President Trump’s re-election and would cost the democrats control of the House.

The insanity of the House Dems has been completely uncorked--but there is a simple Legislative solution by the grown-up Republicans in the Upper Body.
Since the United States Constitution allows the Senate absolute authority to create its own rules in an Impeachment, the Senate can create a rule stating: "Due to a Democrat-controlled House submitting a series of frivolous, merit-less, expensive, and time-consuming Impeachment Articles, all subsequent Articles submitted by the House will result in an immediate acquittal and dismissal of the charges."
This Senate Rule would mean that each and every new article of Impeachment submitted by the Dem House would carry--implicit within it--an instantaneous acquittal of the President.
This new Rule can be removed when sanity again prevails in the United States House of Representatives.
