This was a drug issue, likely involving crystal meth and cash.
I dont think the shooter was an asset to the community :)
But at least three criminals are dead.
There can be anynumber of reasons, and unless its saving someone, they are all in the negative column.
I think your assumption might be incorect. People who are not criminals get their homes invaded, meth people break in, crooks looking for revenge get the wrong place, all the time.
