I bought a stash of incandescent bulbs when this first came about. At the time CFL and LED bulbs were too cool (bluish spectrum) for many applications. I've since read that LED bulbs can now have a warm glow. Still, won't buy them because I don't like the Fedgov telling me which light bulb to buy.

That said, LED lighting has its place in TV and monitor displays, especially in the new 4k ultra-high definition TV's.

Get those with a color spectrum of 2700C for that "warm glow". Color spectrum of 5000C duplicates visible sunlight. There are a couple of other choices, but those are the two I use.
