The House of Representatives is currently debating articles of impeachment against the President of the United States. As we knew would be the case from the moment Speaker Pelosi made this move, the Democratic majority has the votes. It's a fait accompli. But as we discussed recently, something that has changed since Pelosi and friends' announcement of the impeachment inquiry is the state of public opinion. Support for the inquiry -- and, indeed, for impeachment and removal -- spiked "into the black" for awhile, having been deep in the red at the conclusion of the Mueller investigation. The Ukraine matter was different and serious. But as the process has dragged on, including nationally-televised hearings, the electorate's openness to impeachment has faded.

The Democrat whining, moaning and groaning only intensifies their loss. The more they bellyache the more they look like idiots, sore losers and crybabies.
That would only be possible if ANYONE in the Democrat party leadership had an OUNCE of honesty and integrity.
Journalists would have to turn honest. Not going to happen.
Next they'll conclude "Electorate is getting positive about Trump's hairstyle. Nothing to do with impeachment effects."
:o)
Ever notice that all the dim talking heads leading this fiasco are from NY and Kalifornia?
For one thing, it's not being reported AT ALL... in the "mainstream" media. And it won't be.
If there's one thing I've learned in reading this site for the past 2+ decades, it's that any headline (like the one on this thread) which is the least bit favorable to Republicans is always sourced from some blog or some comparatively fringe website.
If the headline is anti-Republican or favorable to Democrats it's very likely sourced from some "news" outlet that everyone's heard of, some major newspaper or TV network, etc.
To sum up, good news is never reported in the so-called mainstream while bad news (fabricated or otherwise) is trumpeted loudly by that same so-called mainstream.
Committing any time of crime or trying to strong arm to get your way (neither is true of Trump) is probably a plus for Trump in some neighborhoods :)
So, if Pelosi holds the articles of impeachment and never sends them to the Senate to be tried, does she think this will give the Democrats cover to declare that President Trump shouldn't be allowed to make nominations to SCOTUS while "impeachment is still pending?"
It would be like when Janet Reno used to say that she couldn't comment on any Clinton matters because the "investigations were still ongoing," despite her DoJ's refusal to close any investigations.
Now we will have the specter of the Democrats declaring that Trump cannot nominate any judges until impeachment is resolved, but then they will refuse to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate to be resolved?

I can only hope Schiff, Nadler, and the rest of the Democrat loonies get the mental help they need. Psychiatrists could be busy in coming days.
The goal the whole time is to make fidiots think he is “impeached”. People are that stupid.
The irony of course is that instead of staining Trump with the serious charges of impeachment, their naked partisan stunt instead cheapens the whole notion of impeachment. Now AND in the future.
I guarantee you if the specter of impeachment shows up for any future President, you’re going to hear, “We need this to be bipartisan, not like the Trump impeachment. That situation needs to be avoided.”
The whole concept has considerably less weight and importance precisely because of what the Dems are doing and how they’re doing it.
They are so disgusting and out of their minds. They better lose the House after this.
