1) They know it’s DOA in the Senate.
2) They lost their only narrative.

Senate rules requiring the House to “immediately” present its articles of impeachment to the Senate clearly violate the constitutional clause in Article I giving each house the sole power to make its own rules. It’s up to the House when and how to prosecute its case in the Senate

it sounds like they want it held up to me, that way they think they can still keep investigating Trump. They will be trouble until they lose majority.

That’s true ... I think Pelosi — for all her mental disabilities — is a crafty enough politician to know that impeaching Trump like this is a nuclear-level blow to the Democrat/Left Party and may very well cost them the House. I think she’s desperate for a way around holding the vote but her options and time are running out.
