Judicial Watch: Court Rejects FBI Effort to Keep Secret Records about FBI-Clinton Lawyer Meeting on Russia

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg denied a Justice Department effort to block the release of any communications between former FBI General Counsel James Baker and Michael Sussmann, a Perkins Coie law partner and former DOJ attorney, who reported met with Baker to share information targeting Donald J. Trump during the presidential campaign.

While at Perkins Coie, Sussmann represented the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s campaign during the time Perkins Coie secretly paid for the development of the anti-Trump dossier the DOJ used to obtain FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. The court specifically rejected the FBI’s argument that it needed to protect the “privacy” of Hillary Clinton’s lawyer.

Why is Christopher Wray impeding this?

Seems like the only group in the District of Corruption doing anything.

"Unfortunately, JW is doing Barr’s job too."
Slowwalking Barr is a total deep state stooge. Thinking this traitorous POS is going to do anything is a pipedream.

FYI Sussman and Corey Booker when to the same High School. Northern Valley Regional Old Tappan. Booker is a couple of years younger, but they undoubtedly knew each other as Sussman played basketball and Booker was a star athlete. I would not be surprised if there was some Booker connection to this mess.

The only ones draining the swamp are Nunes, Jordan and Judicial Watch.

Barr, is either incompetent or complicit. I’m not sure which. Either way, he is ineffective.

Most GOP look like fools, falling for one hopeful tick tock story after another.

Don’t poke the Barr.

Right, because he might send his good friend Lon Hourchi, for whom he offered pro-bobo legal assistance after you.

Following that logic, you should contact Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler.

Who needs facts these days?

You should write a book.

How to be an expert witness without any facts... for dummies.

Attorney-client privilege already goes out the window once you start sharing the information voluntarily with the government.

Barr’s job is to protect the perps in his Department, carefully selecting a few examples to bullshit Trump and the public that he has cleaned things up.

I am sorry if you ever thought otherwise.

He’s working behind the scenes... lets wait to see what he’s got.

*****************

There are dozens of people involved in the coup against the president. With the massive resources at Barr’s disposal why hasn’t he exposed at least one member of the cabal yet? Is that too much to ask of the nation’s chief law enforcement officer? Some of these cases should be easy to prosecute. Judicial Watch does more in one week than Barr has done in a year. Its downright embarrassing.

This is like a general failing to win a single skirmish with an enemy that is vulnerable. Barr has had more than enough time to start the process of holding people accountable and restoring credibility and integrity back into DOJ. But he has done neither.

Excuse the rant but I’m tired of people making excuses for him. One of the reasons the country is in such a mess today is because no one in government is ever held accountable for anything.

“Barr will attack when the facts are gathered and the case is solid.”

That’s hilarious. Twice already — in 2018 and 2019 — Barr had solid cases for McCabe, et al., and “declined to prosecute”. He’s NOT going to attack anyone, except us.

Give it time. I trust Barr. I have never trusted any of the weasels before him.

On Monday, one of the biggest stories of our time will hit. Everyone will be running for cover.
