Joe Biden says he doesnt need his former bosss endorsement.
In an interview Monday with Politico, the former vice president said having had that post under President Barack Obama is as much help as he needs.
No, because everyone knows Im close with him, he said. I dont need an Obama endorsement.
He reiterated to Politico his previous claims that he has asked Mr. Obama not to endorse him and said that this stance would not change as the Democratic presidential-primary field narrows and an Obama endorsement could become a game-clincher.
Mr. Biden also said he wasnt overly put out by a previous Politico report that Mr. Obama had said to others that his former No. 2 really doesnt have it on connecting with voters.
He may have said that. And if its true, and he said it, theres truth to it, Mr. Biden acknowledged before saying that its not fair to judge this campaign by his involvement in previous ones.

No, Joe you don’t need Soetoro’s blessing, you need a rubber room.
That's so wrong. Biden connects all the time with both hands, especially with younger voters and pre-voters. I think the real reason Obama is soft on Biden is he is hard on Boot Edge Edge.

English Translation: "After all that I did for the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean, the SOB is not going to endorse me."
For some reason, all the senior women at my church think Biden is the greatest. They think all the criticisms of him are silly.
Like Curly saying he doesn’t need Moe’s support....
Im pretty sure that Obummer wont endorse Biden because hes saving his star power for his wife, when she does her swan dive into the nominating pool.
Michelle is lying when she says she has no interest in running.
Biden didn't upstage Obama and didn't scare voters (back then anyway). That was enough. It usually is with vice presidents.
